Rahul and the food are memorably awesome. The service was spectacular. The food was epic (fish curry). Nan was unprecedentedly awesome. All around 1-in-a-lifetime experience.

Big fan of NH44 (and I forgive them for taking Azuma's space). Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Delivery is good too.

Took my family of six to NH44 in Hartsdale for Indian Food. Good food, fine service and reasonable prices ($201 including tip for 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, three nans, and a can of soda). Also convenient public garage behind the stores across the street in case no metered spot in front of restaurant.

Took my girl out to try Indian food for the first time, this spot was new to us. First off, we loved the interior, the tables were set nicely and the artwork on the walls tells about the culture. We ordered chicken tikka masala and rogan josh with the basmati rice as well as some garlic naans and we came out of there STUFFEDDD lol. Food was delicious and my girl loved it! The hospitality there was super nice as well. Great service, great food! Will return!

You no longer have to travel to India - or London for that matter - in order to find outstanding and authentic Indian food. It's right here in Hartsdale, at NH44. The owner is gracious and welcoming. The service feels personal and professional at the same time. Now for the food: maybe the best chicken tikka masala my daughter and I ever had. For starters, we had my favorite Indian vegetable dish of fried cauliflower with a Chinese inspired spicy sauce. Its name here: Kung Fu Cauliflower (or maybe Kung Fu Gobi). It's also known as Gobi Manchurian. All I can say is, if you like Chinese food too, you'll probably love this dish - especially here, where it's prepared and presented so perfectly and better than I've ever had. Dessert was Gulab Jamun which was also very good.

Let me preface this by saying I've eaten Indian food in many major cities and also worked in a very successful Indian restaurant for a year. This place is legit. The flavor and seasoning is on point. I am truly beyond impressed and ultimately satisfied. Also the dessert was on point. Rahul was our server tonight and he is very distinguished and excellent at his job. This is coming from a fellow server. 10/10

Nicely appointed restaurant. Courteous service. The food was the star! So much flavor, freshly prepared. Was disappointed they weren't carrying the indian beers on draft listed on the menu but enjoyed bottled versions. We left happy, satiated and with a new indian restaurant on our list.

This is a really great Indian restaurant with high quality food, amazing flavors and really attentive staff in a really colorful, nice space. We ordered several appetizers and a few entrees and they were all great- they don't skimp on the flavors or the spice! The Kundapur Chicken- with its abundance of flavor (curry leaves! Mustard seeds!) was a highlight. But don't skip on the raita, mango chutney or onion chili- all their sauces are fresh and a great addition to the meal. When i raves about how much I loved them, I may have found extras in my take-out bag.

Fabulous spot for good Indian food. The vibe is authentic. When you walk in, you can smell the curry in the air. It reminds me of Murray Hill in the city where there are Indian spots everywhere and the smell of fresh curry lingers in the air. I love that smell. NH44 is the national highway of India going from north to southeast. I love places where the name has a deeper meaning. The Chicken Tikka Masala is really good. It comes out really hot and stays hot. It's full of flavor. Highly recommend. 9/10 The Lamb Jalfrezi was excellent. I liked it even better than the tikka masala. 10/10 The Rogan Josh was pretty good and had a nice kick to it. This was more of a kick to it and was more hot spice than spice flavor. 8/10. The service here is excellent. I highly recommend this spot if you are interested in authentic Indian cuisine. Thank you for an amazing night.

I had a very nice dining experience here. We started with the Samosa Chaat and The kung fu Gobi appetizers. Wow! The appetizers were amazing. The Rich tamarind and mint sauce accompanying the samosas were extremely delicious and tangy. Loved it! The cauliflower was crunchy in a nice sweet-and-sour sauce. Just perfect. For entrées, we ordered the chicken. Kundapur and chicken curry. both were done well but we liked the Kundapur better. The garlic naan that we ordered was Krispy yet fluffy and delicious. Service was good and Overall, we enjoyed our dinner.
